Sharing warmth for the Lunar New Year

In January, HCE delivered our hearts to its neighbors for the Lunar New Year.

For four days from January 16th, we visited welfare facilities near workplaces such as Seongnam and Ulsan to share a total of 17 million won worth of household goods with 5,000 neighbors. 

In addition, we also sent gifts to military soldiers, employees of safety and security management, and cleaning partners who are carrying on at local workplaces.

President Chul-Gon Choi said, "We are proud to deliver warmness to neighbors who may feel more alienated during the Lunar New Year and share the holiday's spirit with employees who are working hard throughout the workplace. We will continue our sharing activities to take care of the community and partner companies in the future.”

National Merit Resident Facility Improvement Project

Hyundai Construction Equipment carried out the National Merit Resident Facility Improvement Project at the end of 2022, following the project in 2021. Three veterans who reside in Ulsan, Pohang, and Gochang were selected for the project. The construction took about a month from November of last year, and various facilities such as windows, bathrooms, and kitchen equipment were renovated. Also, we replaced wallpapers and floorings so the recipients live in a comfortable environment.

On December 16th, 21st, and 22nd, argumentation ceremonies were held in Ulsan, Pohang, and Gochang to celebrate the occupancy of national merit recipients in each area. Mr. Jun-Gu Lee, a national merit recipient who received support for the residential facility in Pohang, expressed his gratitude by saying, "I feel the days when I sacrificed for the country pass by like a dream, and I am grateful to be able to live comfortably in the newly renovated house."

Hyundai Construction Equipment will continue to pursue meaningful projects such as the National Merit Resident Facility Improvement Project and support marginalized neighbors through various social contribution activities.
