2023 MEX Global Launch Show!

On Dec 8th, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment held a 'MEX Global Launch Show' to introduce a new mini excavator lineup at the Ulsan Campus.

Over 200 participants, including corporate representatives and partners from 15 countries worldwide, attended this event. We began with the product unveiling and hands-on experiences with explanations. Also, there were mini talk shows and performance events for global dealers.

From December 5th to 9th, a total of 28 international VIPs were invited for the MEX Global Launch VIP Tour. The tour included stops at GRC, the Yong-In Technology Innovation Center, and Ulsan City. For the last stop, they visited the 'MEX Global Launch Show' at the Ulsan campus.

The launch show's slogan is 'NEW STANDARD,' which reflects the confidence and determination that the new products will set a new paradigm in the market. Through the show, we plan to strengthen the market share in mini excavators by leveraging competitiveness and supply capabilities.

Mini excavators find high utility in various environments such as urban areas, farms, and residential properties, meaning the demand is increasing over time. According to 'Off-Highway Research,' a global construction equipment research institution in the UK, the demand for mini excavators will continue to grow, forming a market size exceeding 18 trillion won by 2027.

Our new Full Line-up of mini excavators comprises seven models (1.7t, 1.9t, 3t, 3.5t, 4t, 4.8t, 5.5t), catering to diverse customer needs. Especially, these models meet the European exhaust gas emission standard 'STAGE V' and feature advanced specifications and performance to maximize operational efficiency, showcasing significantly lower equipment noise compared to other equivalent models.

Moreover, considering various customer segments utilizing mini excavators, stability has been enhanced through emergency switches that can halt the engine in critical situations. Also, the ergonomic design and cabin structure improvements provide a comfortable working space.

Through expanding the new mini excavator lineup, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment aims to establish a ‘new standard for mini excavators' and continue our role as a global top-tier leader in the construction equipment market worldwide.
