Revealing the Future of Construction Sites at CES 2024!

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment participated in CES 2024, held in Las Vegas from the 9th for four days, showcasing technological innovations in future infrastructure construction that surpass the limitations of time and space. The HD Hyundai exhibition was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) West Hall(1000 square meters), doubling in size compared to the previous year.

HD Hyundai presented 'Xite Transformation' as the core theme to address challenges faced by humanity, such as safety, security, supply chain construction, and climate change. The exhibition featured blueprints of future construction sites utilizing unmanned autonomous technology to showcase the vision. Also, various smart construction solutions applicable to future construction sites were prepared, attracting a large crowd to the booth. The exhibition area operated under three themes: Future Xite, Twin Xite, and Zero Xite.

At Future Xite, a large LED screen (18x4.5 meters) attracted the audience. It displayed the 'Autonomous Site,' utilizing AI and machine learning technology to analyze on-site information and provide optimal work plans, equipment operation, and safety management. a 4.5-meter unmanned excavator of the future demonstrated its features to the audience. This unmanned excavator is a futuristic equipment to work safely in complex environments by recognizing obstacles using wide-angle radar sensors and a smart around-view monitoring system. With its four independent wheels, this equipment can easily ascend steep hills or ensure safety by separating workers in hazardous environments.

At Twin Xite, various contents were presented, such as presenting an expert remotely controlling a wheel loader in Atlanta from a distance of about 3,000 kilometers, allowing visitors to personally experience driving a wheel loader through simulators, and VR twin experiences for exploring the future construction site.

At Xero Xite, showcasing an eco-friendly energy value chain for achieving decarbonization, we played a video on a large curved screen presenting our efforts towards Zero Emissions. It showed the production, transportation, and utilization processes of hydrogen and electric energy from sea to land, promoting HD Hyundai's comprehensive energy production, supply, and utilization flow.
