These models are designed with convenience features such as easy access through roll-up doors, cabin temperature control, and vertical lift booms. The lineup of compact excavators included HX35Az, HX40A, and HX48Az, which won the 'Winner' at the 2022 Red Dot Design Awards. These excavators feature numerous convenient functions such as hydraulic flow control, bi-directional shift valve, dozer blade float, hydraulic quick coupler, and free use of Hi MATE telematics.
Our North American subsidiary supports dealers to expand their business into the rental sector through a dedicated department for compact equipment.
From February 18th to 22nd, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment conducted technical and CS(Customer Service) training for 17 Middle Eastern after-sales service dealers in Bahrain. The new UAE dealer, ASM, also participated in the training. The technical training comprised practical and theoretical sessions to enhance understanding of equipment, including excavators and wheel loader hydraulics and electrical systems, HM5.9 & HM8.3 engines, and excavator troubleshooting. CS training focused on customer service mindset education for after-sales service employees, and methods to lead equipment repurchase. We also had time to foster unity among Middle Eastern dealers. As a result, we confirmed the high satisfaction level of the participants, receiving 4.9 out of 5 points.
From February 21st to 23rd, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment organized the 'Asia Eurasia Dealer Conference' in Bali, Indonesia. The Asian and Eurasian markets share a common characteristic of high demand for large equipment. The conference was attended by around 70 participants, including CEO Cheol-gon Choi, Executive Director Hee-joon Song (Sales Division), headquarters management, local staff, and employees from 17 dealers in Asia and Eurasia.
On the 21st and 23rd, we had individual discussions with 17 dealer representatives from 16 countries. On the 22nd, participants wore traditional Indonesian attire, Batik, for the event. After sharing insights on the business direction for 2024, transition to profit-focused equipment, and Key Account acquisition strategies, we had an award for the best dealers of 2023.
